Mobile World Congress 2015, or MWC 2015, kicks off later today. MWC
2015 is being held in Barcelona, Spain, where thousands of reporters,
marketers, and people from the tech industry will be converging for the
largest trade show for mobile technology.
Last year, MWC was a standard affair. People expected bigger
announcements, but there came none from last year's Mobile World
Congress trade show. MWC 2015 is where all our eyes are trained at right
now. More particularly, people are waiting for Samsung to announce the
product that they hope will bring them back in the game.
Also, we are bound to see a lot of Smartwatch and wearable technology
at MWC 2015. Here's our Top 10 Things To Look Out For At Mobile World
Congress 2015.
1. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge
At MWC 2015, Samsung's biggest announcement will be the Galaxy S6
Edge. Unlike the regular Galaxy S flagship series, the Galaxy S6 Edge
sports a three-sided curved display. Ever heard of that? Nope, not us.
The Galaxy S6 Edge supposedly has the same set of specifications as
the Galaxy S6. We are very excited to see the Galaxy S6 Edge at MWC
2015.
2. Samsung Galaxy S6

Samsung
needs a comeback, and the Galaxy S6 is looking like their top bet.
After a dunk in sales with the Galaxy S5, Samsung has poured in their
resources to make sure that the consumers really like their next
flagship.
A metal body, slim design, de-bloated TouchWiz, and screaming-fast
hardware is what Samsung is betting on. That, and a large marketing
budget. We are definitely looking forward to the Galaxy S6 at the 2015
Mobile World Congress.
3. Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet
![](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/blogger_img_proxy/AEn0k_vrq15qbXpoSMIjLB4HIxxN9Z8qVH3ML8z1uhD5pP98lRCu6olCG_K-dCmlJvQi6gLzHVsJjtiyN4dFZi0y48orM4HldkAi1w8Iw5WAFmxRtZNEON6iFtXGVFAzdOHIvBrCdA=s0-d)
Sony's
next ultra-sleek and sexy tablet will be announced at MWC 2015. Last
year, Sony skipped the Xperia Z3 Tablet, and released only the Xperia Z3
Compact Tablet. But if you remember the beautiful and well-crafted
Xperia Z2 Tablet, chances are that you're already more excited than we
are about the Xperia Z4 Tablet.
The Xperia Z4 Tablet allegedly sports a 10.1-inch 2K display,
Snapdragon 810 processor, and a super-slim body. Keep a look out for
this one at the Mobile World Congress 2015 trade show.
4. Huawei Smartwatch
After checking out the leaked videos, is there anyone who's not
excited about the Huawei Smartwatch? Based on Android Wear, the Huawei
Smartwatch nails a design muddle that left the Moto 360 without a
perfectly circular display.
The Huawei Android Wear Smartwatch, which will definitely be on show
at MWC 2015, has a perfectly circular display. If the Huawei Smartwatch
manages to deliver 24-hour battery life, we are sold.
5. HTC One M9

We've
literally seen dozens of HTC One M9 leaked images. A full hands-on
video, posted yesterday, shows the new dual-tone color and other subtle
differences between the One M8 and the One M9.
Some people may be dismayed by the minor cosmetic changes in the One
M9, but what we are really excited to hear about is HTC's 20MP rear
camera, and see the Material Design based Sense UI 7.0 in action. Don't
miss the HTC One M9 at Mobile World Congress 2015.
6. LG Watch Urbane LTE

LG
has already pre-announced the Watch Urbane LTE. This is the first
Smartwatch with 1GB of RAM, and LTE connectivity. That's right, MWC 2015
will have an LTE-enabled Smartwatch on the floor.
The LG Watch Urbane LTE isn't based on Android Wear. LG is allegedly
using a custom Web OS build for the Smartwatch. The Watch Urbane LTE
also has a large 700mAh battery, NFC, a speaker, and GPS. Such features
are a first for a Smartwatch. You certainly want to check out the Watch
Urbane LTE at MWC 2015.
7. SteamVR by Valve

Valve
will announce their very own virtual reality headset. Dubbed SteamVR,
the VR headset allegedly looks very similar to Oculus Rift. SteamVR is
expected to bridge the gap between virtual reality and PC gaming. If the
headset goes mainstream, we could be seeing a ton of VR-optimized games
in the near future.
Are you excited about SteamVR at Mobile World Congress?
8. Microsoft Windows 10 Mobile Handsets

Rumors
suggest that Microsoft will show off not one, but two Windows 10 Mobile
handsets at MWC 2015. The first one is a phablet, the Lumia 1330, which
will allegedly replace the Lumia 1320. Second is the Lumia 640, which
will serve the mid-range segment, succeeding the Lumia 630.
Both devices will allegedly run Windows 10 out-of-the-box. Their
market release might be a few months away, but people at the Mobile
World Congress 2015 trade show might get a first-hand experience of
Windows 10 on Smartphones.
9. BlackBerry All-Touch Smartphone
There are rumors suggesting that BlackBerry will make a comeback at
MWC 2015. The Canadian firm is rumored to be working on an all-touch
device. We do remember that BlackBerry recently recommitted themselves
to producing devices with hardware keyboards.
CEO John Chen might announce the new BlackBerry Smartphone at MWC 2015.
10. Lenovo Vibe Shot

Ever
thought about having a Smartphone that packs a powerful camera with it?
Of course you have. That's like almost everyone, duh!
When Lenovo announced the Vibe Shot, we thought, "could this be the
one?" Armed with a 16MP rear camera, triple-tone flash, OIS, the Vibe
Shot brings point-and-shoot capabilities to a Smartphone while staying
lean and clean. The device is impressive too, with a 64-bit processor,
5-inch Full HD display, and 3GB RAM. Definitely check the Vibe Shot out
at MWC 2015.

World Congress 2015. Do let us know if we missed anything, that you
think should be a part of this list.
